Carissimi Amiche ed Amici,
da pochi giorni è incominciato l’autunno, tripudio di colori sfumati e variopinti, e mentre gli albericominciano a perdere le foglie ingiallite, i Club rotariani del Distretto 2100 sono entrati in piena attività per realizzare i programmi sognati e progettati.
Il mese di settembre è stato caratterizzato da tre importanti impegni distrettuali, che hanno visto la quasi totale partecipazione dei Club. Al Meeting delle Commissioni tenutosi nella terra di Pitagora,Crotone, hanno partecipato 30 dei 31 Club della Calabria e Territorio di Lauria, mentre al Meeting di Sessa Aurunca, riservato ai Club campani, sono stati presenti 41 su 45 Club.
I Delegati delle Commissioni che hanno molto apprezzato questa iniziativa, avente lo scopo di offrire ai Club un notevole contributo operativo per i loro progetti di servizio, sono entusiasti e totalmente disponibili.
La partecipazione al Club Day, tenutosi il 19 settembre nell’incantevole borgo medioevale di
Teggiano, che ha superato le più floride aspettative, ha sottolineato la grande voglia dei Club di avere un effettivo di qualità costituito da Soci che coniugano alle elevate capacità professionali grande integrità morale e comportamento etico.
I Club vogliono espandere l’effettivo in qualità non in quantità ed è per questo che al President Day di Castrovillari porteremo in approvazione la “REGOLA ETICA”.
Sento, pertanto, imperiosa la necessità di esternare un forte e sentito ringraziamento a tutti i relatori intervenuti nei suddetti seminari che con i loro pregevoli ed esaustivi contributi hanno determinato il successo di queste manifestazioni.

Letter of October – Month of the professional service –

Amantea,  October  1^st, 2009

Dear Friends,

The Autumn has been starting for a few days, riot of shaded and variegated colours, and, while the trees are going to shed their yellow leaves, the Rotarian Clubs , belonging to the District 2100, are working to accomplish their own dreamed and planned programs.
September had three main district appointments to which most Clubs took part.30 out of 31 Clubs from Calabria and Lauria zone participated to the Commissions’ Meeting in Pitagora’s land, Crotone, on the other side 41 out of 45 Clubs from Campania were present at Sessa Aurunca .
The Commission Delegates are showing enthusiasm and full availability to such initiative whose aim is: giving all the Clubs an important operative help to their service programs.
On 19^th  September , at the charming medieval place, Teggiano, the participation over any expectation at  the Club Day underlined the great intention of the Clubs to have the best members matching their  professional skills to great moral integrity and ethic behavior.
The aim of all the Clubs is to expand themselves in quality more than quantity that’s why, in occasion of the President Day in Castrovillari, we will approve “the ethic rule”.
Therefore, I feel the need to thank sincerely all the speakers who made the above-mentioned appointments a success with their excellent support.
